WISHLIST WEDNESDAY #4 | Holiday Wishlist 2014

Yes, I’m one of those people who opt to call the season “Holiday” rather than “Christmas”. Why? Because it doesn’t have to be Christmas per se for you guys to gift me these things. *wink*

But honestly, I’m pretty bad with wishlists. First, I feel bad asking for specific stuff. Second, they’re not really the cheapest stuff out there and I know that times are hard. They’re so specific that I only know of one or two places to get them… online. Third, they’re so inconvenient to get that I end up getting them for myself anyway. And my refusal to buy full priced items when the alternative is available… I’m a tough cookie to shop for.

Pen to Paper blog hosts Wishlist Wednesdays.  Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop where we will post about one book per week that has been on our wishlist for some time, or just added (it’s entirely up to you), that we can’t wait to get off the wishlist and onto our wonderful shelves.

Anyway, here’s my list. It’s just for fun; you don’t have to get me any of these. In fact, I might be buying some of these myself in the coming days…

(In no particular order.)

  1. Soul Eater Soul Art by Okubo Atsushi
  2. The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien, illustrated by Jemima Catlin
  3. Persona 4 Arena: Official Design Works by M. Kirie Hayashi
  4. The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien, illustrated by Michael Hague
  5. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remastered Official Strategy Guide by BradyGames
  6. Harry Potter Film Wizardry by Brian Sibley
  7. The Making of the Movie Trilogy (LOTR) by Brian Sibley
  8. The Art of the Fullmetal Alchemist: The Anime by Hiromu Arakawa
  9. The Art of the Fullmetal Alchemist 1 & 2 by Hiromu Arakawa
  10. The Art of Kiki’s Delivery Service by Hayao Miyazaki
  11. The World of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin (Although I already have a digital version of this.)
  12. The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien, illustrated by Alan Lee
  13. Horrorstor: A Novel by Grady Hendrix (I get free books from Quirk Books but I don’t remember getting the e-mail for this one. Sadness.)
  14. The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies Chronicles (I am getting this for myself FOR SURE.)
  15. Outsider by Klaire de Lys
  16. Jane Eyre (Barnes and Noble Classics) by Charlotte Bronte

I know, that’s a LOT of art books and Middle-Earth stuff. The list still stands even after the Holidays. 😉 I love getting – and giving – book gifts. Not all my friends are readers but one can always use a good book. I can always use a good book.

I hope you guys have a happy holiday season, no matter what you celebrate!
